Forex Broker List

I've been with efx for several months. The good: instant fills, excellent spreads, good variety of order types, helful support. The bad: lack of charting, several disconnects from their server. So far, quite happy with EFX.

I've spent the last weeks signing up for demo accounts at different brokers. Some of them are even ready to call you on the phone to try to sell their product but when it comes to helping you with problems related to their trading platform they disappear very quickly and you never hear from them again... EFX is just the opposite. They seem to me very honest and they are there when you need them. You can drop an email and usually in a matter of minutes you have the answer even if your request is not urgent at all. When I feel ready to open a live account is is going to be with EFX for sure. Their platform, EFX Navigator, seems (for a beginner) a bit odd at first with all those order types but with a bit of practice and learning (go and join one of their free webinars) it is very powerful. I just wish they had their own charting and automated trading solution. Let's see what that top secret Omega project brings...

Flexible set up, one of the best on stingy spreads, a challenge for a awhile to grasp their method of Order placement. Lack of charts to be remedied later; if one has other preferable charts, then this lack is not a problem. Courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable; offers frequent sharp seminars to get the hang of their station; has archives resource on them. Overall, very adequate once you learn their Order options.

The absolute best broker! I’ve been trading forex for about 3 years now and after opening accounts with almost a ½ dozen brokers I finally feel confident I have found the broker I’ll be with for a long time. Besides having exceptionally low spreads & great execution, their customer service is superior to any other broker out there. Phil & Justin (the only two I’ve dealt with) would jump through a ring of fire to make sure their clients are happy & if you pick their brains they’re a wealth of information. Bottom line: If your looking for an ECN broker, extremely tight spreads, a variety of order types & and customer support that feels more like a trading partner rather then a help desk then EFX is the place to be.

I have to say that the EFX product is very satisfactory. Pip spread, execution, layout, customer service all were to my satisfaction. If there is one thing they could do though is begin to start using charts, that's the only below expectation mark I can give at this current time. I hope to continue to do business with them in the future. Hate to hear what others are saying in their reviews. I haven't had to endure that yet...hope I don't have to, I'm enjoying it.

I am trading with EFX since approx. 3 month. Here are my findings about this broker:

You need a leat a million dollars to get a better broker. I've been with them for over a year. I love them and some times it can be a toss up between them and my other broker Barclays. I traded on the demo platform, it is good but not great, you experience gliches that does not occur on the live platform. Excellent transparency and fast execution during fast markets. They don't bullshit you with slow quotes, requotes and platform freezing. You can place orders anytime...never any silly price distance restrictions. You have to pay for charts but you always have cost of doing business and the 1/10th a pip spread more than makes-up for that.Customer service is the best I've ever experienced. They actually listen to you...not like other borkers who always want to get you off the phone it seems. Leaving orders out during news is the same here as it's going to be at any other dealer, or in any other market for that matter...You WILL experience some slippage on your limits and stops...for those of you who can't handle it, get a life! There's no free lunch in trading. Get a real trading strategy and stop blaming your broker!You will not be trading in your brokers little world you will be trading in the real world and that is what you want. You do not want someone picking your prices for you, if you click market you get market. Take off the training wheels, go STP and ECN, I recommend! EFXgoup.

I have been using EFX now for 2 months after reading their responses to reviews on this site. For anyone to defend their company in the way they did they couldn't be all bad. I have had zero, none, nada problem.. The spreads are better than most, the commissions are very reasonable. They warn you before extreme market conditions.. I'm extremely happy with them and have and will continue to recommend them to others.

EFX is the best broker I've come across. They're not a bucket shop like so many others. They're an ECN. They don't trade against you. They have no position to protect. Sure, their spreads move a little and their platform takes some getting used to but I no longer am knocked out of a position by a 20 pip spread(Oanda). I can trade the market open on Sunday afternoon without a 10 pip spread(Oanda). The customer service is fantastic. They have no charting included so it's up to you to find what works best. The platform is solid and has never gone down, ever, while I have used it. For those of you who want to trade like the pros and without the interference of a bucket shop(FXCM, CMC, FXDD, etc.)that trades against you, get real and get with the program by trading wth EFX.
