Getting more and more problem with execution. It is very difficult to get in during news. During quiet market can be considered as good.

So far so good.. No problems yet. Only been with them for a couple of months, but doing OK. Had to remind them about a sign-up bonus but once emailed it appeared within minutes.

Been trading with CS for some time on the Forex only. CS do provide some tight spreads and the site is user friendly. Most Orders are placed very quickly, but there is often a delay in processing an OCO. I have tried other Brokers but always come back to CS.

I've been with Capitalspreads for a couple of years now. They are part of London capital Group and offer a number of financial products - forex, derivatives, spread betting. They also 'white label' for others. On the spread betting side - generally they are good at Customer Service. If you are looking to start out in Spread Betting then CapitalSpreads is a good starting place. They seem keen to get 'newbies' on board. OK - onto dealing. As I understand, each deal is 'authorised' by a dealer and the deal is generally executed quite quickly. However, there are times when this can be very slow (sometimes I have been waiting for around a minute!!!!!!) not knowing when if a trade has been accepted. Sometimes I've had problems with the website (like yesterday) which completely froze. I phoned them and they said they 'probably' had problems with a server. Took about 15 mins for platform to come back (but in fairness they did say that dealing could be done over the phone). They do not offer a guaranteed stop loss but I have found that the the stops you put in place are usually filled (apart from the extreme occasions when news / data etc. has hit the market). At these times,do not expect a quick response. For this reason I would say do not trade the news with them - it just won't work! Trading times - generally quite limited when compared with other companies but they are improving. The MD - Simon Denham is very accessible. Have a look at www.trade2win.com and you will see that he answers many questions his products and his company in the forums. How many MDs do you know that do that! Great!! Overall this is a company offering a good spread betting product as long as you are not trading the news and are new to spread betting. So what am I happy with:

I have had an account with capital spreads for almost a year now and overall they are OK.But forget about news trading, the platform will either freeze or there is significant slippage.I had some decent fills the first couple of times but then almost never.Limit/stop orders will however work.

I have been very impressed with Capital Spreads. From initially setting up my account right through to depositing and withdrawing funds I have found them to be straight forward and extremely willing to help. With regards to actually trading they offer tight spreads, the platform is user friendly and so far all my orders have been filled at the level I wanted. I have found only 2 issues to be aware of - firstly the charts are occassionally behind the live price and secondly there has been one occassion when my order was filled and it didn't appear as an 'open position' for a minute leaving me with no option but to sit there waiting. Overall I can highly recommend them.

been with capital for about 3 weeks after using their demo account,orders are xecuted on time,very easy platforms customer service is very helpfull and most importanly there spread is good

First off these are exellent at all times so far. I have had an account for 3 weeks and not had one problem. The platform is easy to use. Putting money in and taking money out is very fast too. The only fault i can say with capital spreads is that on closing there is small slippage, maybe 1 to 2 pips. Not alot when they have fixed spread even at news time! 5 stars from me. Any changes i'll keep you posted.
